This course examines some of the emerging issues and debates in sports and athleticism. Students will take a deeper dive beyond mere sports scores and championships. Through this course, students will analyze some of the behind-the-scenes aspects of sports and athleticism from marketing/branding, and consumerism, to racism, sexism, and geopolitics.
