Applied Marketing Design
In this fourth-year Interactive Media course, students will build on the graphic design fundamentals and interface design skills developed in previous semesters to plan, produce and present a range of design solutions for multifaceted marketing and public education campaigns. Through these campaigns, students will become versed in producing design solutions across a range of print, outdoor, merchandise, and interactive media, while building a sensitivity for designing within the constraints of brand identity guidelines. A particular emphasis will be placed on design research and peer-led critique in order to create a variety of designs that convey meaningful information effectively to specific target audiences.
