Automation Control Systems III

This course initially introduces the student to static and dynamic characteristics of the components involved with process control systems. Various process variable sensing techniques are discussed as well as feedback control modes and final control elements. Controller tuning methods by actual dynamic analysis or by mathematical modeling is also investigated. A variety of control strategies are evaluated and compared for optimum control system performance.
