Clinical VII: Advanced Clinical Concepts
This course prepares senior nursing students for entry-to-practice through advanced simulation and clinical experiences in a variety of settings. Students will demonstrate increasing independence, leadership, and clinical judgment as they manage complex health scenarios. A variety of simulation modalities including high-fidelity, communication-based, gamified, and technical skill simulations support the integration of advanced assessment, pharmacotherapeutics, and culturally competent care. Emphasis is placed on interprofessional collaboration, evidence-informed practice, and person-centered care across diverse settings.
