I liked how easy it was to meet new people and how enthusiastic the professors were about the content they were teaching. It made what (at-first) seemed like a scary experience turn into an effortless and comfortable transition from high school. The plethora of events at the college also created a sense of community and I made a lot of connections, both personal and professional, and allowed me to be a more social person overall.

I chose Confederation College because it was close and convenient, and it offered the program I wanted that provided the essential skills I would need for the workplace.
How Confederation College Helped Me to Achieve My Educational Goals
Confederation College provided a great environment to get help, work with classmates and friends, and to ensure all my goals I wanted to complete were achieved. This extends to services such as mentoring sessions in the library, work areas in the Library, Atrium, and Cafeteria, and connections to companies outside of the College and events hosted around the city, with special attention given towards students.
What I Would Like to Do After I Graduate
I would like to get right into the workplace and start to build up my resume with experience and skills, and eventually work my way up to higher-paying positions.

My Advice to Future Students Considering Confederation College
Don't be scared to go the college events and meet new people! You may want to just solely focus on your studies and ignore everything that doesn't relate to them, but I guarantee that getting involved with the college community will make the entire experience much better overall.
A Teacher Who Made a Difference in my Learning
When I think back on who impacted my learning the most, I have to say that Troy Mangatal is a teacher who made an enormous impact and difference in my learning. He, as a teacher, gave his students each and every opportunity he could to get them off their feet and dedicated a great deal of his time and attention to his students beyond what I think most instructors are expected to do.
