I started at Confederation College when my first child was just under a year old. With uncertainties in school, work, and life balance, Confederation College was the perfect choice for me. This program allowed me to commit a year at a time which was ideal for my family. My original plan of the one year program grew each year to the two year and three year diplomas. I then transferred to Lakehead University under their College Transfer Program and completed my Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, Accounting Graduate Diploma, and successfully completed my CPA exam over the next few years.
Now, I am working on a Masters in Science in Management while working full-time in a wonderfully fulfilling accounting job.
Confederation College prepared me well for this path, while giving me additional option to upgrade my education each year, as my family situation allowed it.
