I chose this program because it was the perfect segue for me to transfer my clinical skills to the administrative level of the healthcare sector. Being at Confederation College was like being part of a small community which was very warm and welcoming. The staff are very friendly and all the members here are very helpful. Since the class sizes are small, we tend to get the personal attention of all the staff. Also, all the staff take a personal interest in the success of their students. They always go beyond their ways to help their students achieve success!
With the help of the program faculty and the Program Coordinator I was able to land a work placement at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. It’s pretty amazing how I am able to use every single skill and piece of knowledge I’ve gathered from the program in my current work placement. It’s as if this program was designed for the current job I am doing.
This program has helped me to identify further educational opportunities such my desire to pursue a masters degree in health administration, or in the public health sector, or even Business administration.
I would definitely recommend Confederation College to other students who wish to come here and pursue their education. It’s an amazing campus - it’s a great way to meet people and gain the necessary skills to enter the competitive world and the job market.
