My name is Sarah Pecore and I am a Confederation College alumni graduating first from the Personal Support Worker Program in 2019 and recently, a proud graduate of the Practical Nursing Program in 2021 with honours!
I started in the Personal Support Worker Program and continued to the Practical Nursing Program, as I wanted to further my education and opportunities in healthcare. I am currently employed at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on the Maternal Newborn service and at Southbridge Pinewood Court. I have a passion for both obstetrics and long-term care!
This program has taught me many things that I can use in both my professional and personal life – such as communication skills, professionalism, and selflessness. I strongly advised anyone who is caring and compassionate to consider a career in Practical Nursing!
