I am a geological labourer for New Gold Inc. at their Rainy River mine. My responsibilities are to take samples of the rock from the drills and transport them to the Assay Lab and then process the samples.

My advice is to do it! You will not regret taking this program if you have any sort of interest in the environment. When I first applied I wasn’t sure if this is what I was wanting to do. All I knew is that I enjoyed being outdoors and now I am forever grateful that I decided to take this career path.
