I cannot say enough about the Accounting school's professors. All three of them are extremely dedicated, qualified, and consistently go the extra mile for their students. It makes a world of difference when you have that type of support available from your professors. They were all only an email away, had amazing response times, were open to suggestions, were fair and trustworthy.

You will get out from the program what you put in. Never underestimate the value of hard work and dedication. While the Professors are excellent, you must rely on a disciplined approach to studies to find sustained success.
The Most Sought-After Qualifications & Talents That Employers are Currently Seeking in this Field of Work
Employers are looking for graduates who are competent with the fundamental accounting principles, have a good understanding of the commonly used industry softwares (Excel, Sage, Quickbooks, etc), and coachability. You aren't expected to know everything, but you must be open to hard work and growth by experience.
My Sense of the Current Job Market Conditions in my Field of Work
Locally, there is a lot of opportunity for book-keeping/accounting work. I found gainful employment during my studies and had multiple offers upon graduation. My own bookkeeping business is also not lacking available work. I have had to turn down some opportunities so as not to take on more than I can handle.
