I felt like a kid full of curiosity, discovery, just so excited and happy. I met with students from diverse backgrounds who were in the same position, either Second Career, Ontario Works (OW) or just coming back to gain an education. I found that the Academic Upgrading Program prepared me by teaching me the tools I needed for Post-secondary. I found that the support I received from the staff in the program really helped me to stay focused and on top of my studies. The instructors are amazing as they work closely with you to ensure you understand the work. I had a great experience in the program and have recommended it to individuals thinking of going back to school but don’t know where to start.
