I am honoured to have such an education at MY community college.
How and Why I Choose Confederation College
I chose Confederation College because it's part of my community. Confederation College offered the program that 33 years of work experience allowed me to expand myself and gain a career, not just a job. I started in Academic Upgrading after losing my job and being out of school for 32 years. Then I entered the Business Human Resources program and graduated in June 2016 with honours. Not bad for a 52 yr old! Now I will graduate in June 2017 from Business Administration Human Resources , again with honours. In September 2017, I am entering Aboriginal Community Advocacy - Accelerated program. I am honoured to have such an education at MY community college.

Teachers Who Made a Difference in my Learning
Two teachers that made a difference for me were Nadine Doucette and Sue Hoffman. Nadine was there to guide me when I was doubting my choices and made me realize that I can do this. Sue gave me the inner strength to achieve a better me and realize that I am not alone in life.
