I am grateful that I chose Confederation College to start my post-secondary education. The quality of education, along with the eagerness and enthusiasm of the professors and instructors helped me to want to pursue higher education. I finished the three-year program in 2017, graduated with Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree at Lakehead University in 2019 and am now pursuing both a Master's Degree and the CPA designation.

How Confederation College Has Changed My life
I was an immigrant when I started my education at Confederation College. Back then, I didn't have an idea what I can pursue with my interest in Accounting here in Canada. With the three years I had at the College, I became aware of many job opportunities available with the program I had chosen - Advanced Diploma in Business Administration - Accounting. In addition, I was also able to grow my interest in pursuing the CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation. After I graduated at Confederation College, I knew that I wanted to become a CPA.
My Job & Job Responsibilities
I prepare corporate and personal tax returns, compilation (notice to reader) engagements, review engagements. I also participate in audit engagements of several organizations.
What Brings Me the Greatest Satisfaction From My Job
Everyday I learn new things. The job I do is not really a routine/repetitive job as I get to work on different types of files.
