Role & Responsibilities

As an Integration Facilitator in Confederation College’s Community Integration through Co-operative Education (CICE) Program, Ryan supports students in developing independence, confidence, and essential academic, employment, and life skills. He works closely with students, faculty, employers, and community partners to create meaningful learning experiences and help students achieve their personal and career goals.

Professional Background

Ryan Cannon is a passionate human services professional and proud Confederation College graduate. He graduated from Confederation College in 2016 from the Recreation Therapy program and has spent many years working in the human services field, supporting individuals in achieving their personal, educational, and community goals.

Ryan brings a person centered approach to his work, with a strong belief in the importance of inclusion, meaningful relationships, and creating opportunities for individuals to succeed. His background in recreation therapy and human services has helped him develop a diverse set of skills and experiences that he brings to his role at Confederation College.

As an alumnus, Ryan is excited to give back to the college community that played an important role in his own education and career journey. He is passionate about helping students feel supported, connected, and confident as they work toward their goals.
