Dr. Bill J. Gregorash

Dr. Bill J. Gregorash is a certified Red Seal Chef de Cuisine with a professional background in hotel and restaurant food service management. In 1987, he founded and owned a successful fine dining restaurant specializing in Northern Italian cuisine before transitioning to academia in 2001, when he was appointed as a professor in hospitality programs.

Dr. Gregorash holds a Master’s degree in Tourism Management from Royal Roads University and a PhD from the School of Management at University of Leicester (UK).

He currently teaches in business programs and has presented his research at conferences in London (England), France, Italy, Portugal, China, Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates, and across Canada.

From 2015 to 2025, Dr. Gregorash served as the volunteer Chair of the Research Ethics Board for Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
