Course Reserves at the College Library
Find Course Reserves
The Reserve collection consists of material that instructors set aside for their students as a supplement to their class lectures. The items in this collection may be borrowed for short periods of time only – either 2 hours or one day.
To locate a course reserve (physical or digital) that an instructor has placed on reserve in the library:
- Search the library catalogue(opens in new window) for either the instructor's name, course code, or course name. Click the magnifying glass.
For Faculty
The library offers a special reserve service to faculty. If there is physical material (your own or library items) that you would like your students to access in order to supplement your class lectures:
- Bring it to the Library's 2nd floor desk (if the items are in the library's collection, supply the titles to staff and these items will be pulled for reserve)
- Fill out a Reserve Request Form(opens in new window).
The staff will place these items into the Reserve Collection and students can search for them in the library catalogue under your name, the course code, or your course name.
Students will be able to search for them through the eResources Program Guide finalized by library staff.
