Please join us as we celebrate our accomplishments, recognize our outstanding, long standing & retiring employees all on the backdrop of beautiful Old Fort William.
Our annual Confederation Negahneewin Day Event is a meaningful opportunity to come together and celebrate the incredible contributions of our entire College team.
While venue limitations prevent us from offering a live stream this year, we sincerely encourage our regional employees to attend in person and be part of this special celebration.
Below are links to nominate a deserving employee for a variety of awards, including our prestigious Board of Governor's Awards of Excellence, our Community Team Award & our Confed Cares Award. All winners will be announced & celebrated at Confederation Negahneewin Day.

Confed Cares Nominations
Recognize individuals making a positive impact in the College community.
Submit a nomination for someone who demonstrates care, commitment, and leadership. Recipients will be recognized during Confederation Negahneewin Day.

Team Award Nominations
Nominate a team that stands out through collaboration and contribution.
This award recognizes teams that show strong teamwork, innovation, and commitment to the College community. Teams may include members from different departments.

Board of Governors’ Awards of Excellence
Recognize employees who demonstrate outstanding achievement.
These awards highlight excellence across the College, celebrating individuals who go beyond expectations in their roles.

Agenda
Our day will begin with a light breakfast, followed by an engaging morning of awards & recognition.
A full & delicious lunch will follow the morning session.
After lunch, our employees will be able to attend a variety of programming provided by Fort William Historical Park.
Registration for this event will be required. As we are off campus utilizing a host facility, unfortunately we will not be able to accommodate those who do not register by the registration deadline of June 9, 2026.

- Craft Workshop
- Participants will make a leather and Melton cloth pouch with optional accent beading.
