Complimentary parking is offered to event participants and exhibitors in the Green Lots (F, E & D)(opens in new window).
How to Prepare
- Review the participating list of exhibitors prior to the event and do some initial research on each organization/company before attending.
- Prepare and update your resume by accessing support through Student Career Services or Northwest Employment Works (NEW).
- Refer to resources in the Student Employment Preparation Course on Blackboard.
- Review the job postings within the MyCareer Job Bank. As this is a busy event, each employer has a limited amount of time so the more research you can do in advance, the easier it will be to engage discussions and maximize your time with each employer.
- Take notes and follow-up with the employers on any questions afterwards.
- QR codes for each employer will be at the booths for convenient link to the recruitment sites to submit applications online or by preferred method.
- BANK ON IT – Two Job Banks for Thunder Bay and Regional Job Search
