Hospitality Essentials

This course focuses on essential employability skills for entry-level and frontline workers in tourism. These skills are generic, which means that they apply to all types of jobs, are transferable and are building blocks towards technical or job-specific skills. These abilities are needed at any job level, in any organization, in any industry and in all aspects of people’s lives: home/family, work, school/learning and community. Hospitality Essentials will give the student the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of the tourism and hospitality industry and get them started in a career in tourism that can lead to many further opportunities.
