Tour Operations

In this course, the student will prepare to effectively perform the functions of a leisure travel professional. Areas that will be studied cover tour charters, car rentals, rail travel, motorcoach tours and tour conducting. Standard references and brochures are utilized as sources of product knowledge with a focus on selling features. Students will also learn key components of travel insurance, premiums, risks and benefits. Certifications will be earned in these areas.
