Outdoor Adventure Principles
This course will introduce students to theory and practice related to working in the outdoor adventure industry. Students will examine the roles of government and private sector in the industry. The application of various skills related to navigation, survival, trip planning, and the practice of a variety of outdoor recreation activities will be examined. A certification in First Aid/CPR will be completed.
