Helping Relationships

This course introduces the learner to the concepts of establishing and maintaining helping relationships with clients and their families through a professional, therapeutic approach. The student will explore the knowledge and skills required to effectively communicate in a variety of situations, understand and maintain professional boundaries and become a respectful, caring member of the interprofessional health care team.
