Implementing a Successful E-Commerce Strategy
This is an interactive hands-on course that explores the rapidly expanding world of electronic commerce. In order to gain a greater appreciation of the comprehensive nature and the tremendous impact of electronic commerce, students will experience electronic commerce first-hand and will consider the various components of electronic commerce in the functions of the business chain. Emphasis will be primarily placed on the business/management and customer service aspects of electronic commerce, however, the technological, legal and social aspects will also be explored. Participants will examine successful electronic commerce business cases and will be able to discuss both the reasons for current success and future opportunities. All participants will be required to make a small purchase on-line.
