Fitness and Resiliency for Policing
This course starts students on the road to mental resilience by providing an overview of common mental illnesses, such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety, and the factors that may influence these illnesses. This course also focuses on the role that stress plays in daily life and provides strategies to deal with stress. In addition, students will learn alternative ways to exercise and continue to focus on planning and documenting their journey to increase their physical well-being. The proper procedure to achieve the standard required for successful completion of various professional tests will also be explored.
