Canadian Justice System

This introductory course provides the student with an overview of Canadian Justice Systems with particular emphasis on the history, function, role, and organization of Canadian law enforcement services. The operation of the criminal justice system will be examined along with areas of civil law. Students will analyze contemporary issues affecting the system. Each of the major components from enforcement through the courts and correctional services will be explored.
