Environmental Issues
This course provides the student with a basic knowledge of our Canadian legislative process as they are applied for the resolution of environmental concerns in both the wood products and pulp and paper industry. Students will analyze the components of a 'due diligence' defense. As well, this course explains how environmental legislation is enforced. Students should be able to recognize the importance of compliance and apply regulations to situations that may occur in industry.
