Diabetes Field Placement

In this course, students will gain experience in providing diabetes education to individual clients. They will integrate diabetes theory and principles of adult education gained from pre-requisite courses. Working with a preceptor, students will evaluate their ability to provide a positive, effective teaching and learning experience for the client. Students must submit current registration with their regulatory body prior to acceptance into the field placement.
