English as a Second Language 3B

This course is ideal for non-native speakers of English at an Advanced level. It is a continuation of NI 600, ESL Level III A. Small class sizes and enthusiastic instructors ensure that students enjoy a variety of communicative activities designed to improve their overall speaking, pronunciation, reading, writing, and listening abilities. Course objectives will further introduce academic speaking and writing skills and pronunciation enhancement. Biweekly cultural presentations and field trips enhance classroom lectures and computer lab activities, providing excellent opportunities for language practice while students experience Canada's history, geography, and multiculturalism.
