Native Family and Parenting

This course will examine the Native parenting values and practices past and present. It will examine traditional values and methods of child rearing and explore the reality of modern day parenting for Native people. A variety of traditional and modern parenting techniques will be introduced to help students formulate their own positive parenting style.
