Harm Reduction and Restorative Practices
This course explores the intersection of Indigenous knowledge systems, harm reduction, and restorative justice practices, offering a comprehensive understanding of how these frameworks can contribute to healing and transformation in Indigenous communities. Students will engage with traditional Indigenous perspectives on wellness and justice, learning how these perspectives can be integrated with contemporary harm reduction strategies and restorative practices to address issues such as substance use, community violence, and systemic marginalization.
