Power Transmission I

This course allows the student to understand basic installation blueprints for machinery layout, leveling, and coupling alignment. Students will be able to apply mathematical concepts relative to layout methods, identify couplings, shafts and keys, and relate to various types of fasteners, bearings, lubrication and seals.
