Approaches to Personal and Interpersonal Growth

This course promotes self-awareness and offers methods for examining not only one's own character and behavior, but for gaining insight into the character and behaviour of others with whom they may have relationships. Students will learn the importance of addressing their personal issues so that they can approach their work with a strong sense of principles, ethics and integrity, and thereby help others with greater effectiveness. They will also practice methods for fostering growth in interpersonal relationships. By combining a personal and interpersonal focus, this course will contribute to a holistic understanding of healing and wellness.
