Case Management
The student will be introduced to processes that are utilized in developing an effective and efficient case management system. The process of completing assessments, identifying problems, setting up intervention plans, establishing a system to implement and evaluate the therapeutic plan, will be covered in this course. The student will become familiar with the required documentation to develop a professional case management system in order to provide a better service to the clients. The student will be introduced to some case management systems--i.e. case conferencing--that are being utilized in Aboriginal agencies. Students will be responsible for developing a case management system a part of the course evaluation.
