Introductory Microcomputer Applications
This course introduces students to the use of personal productivity software and microcomputer applications. Specifically, students will use basic and intermediate features of Windows XP, Microsoft Word 2003, Excel 2003 and PowerPoint 2003 to perform tasks commonly encountered in the workplace. Students attend weekly lab sessions for hands-on learning using computer simulation software. This simulation software can also be installed on personal computers for out-of-lab learning.
