Investigative Practices

In this course students will apply knowledge and skills learned through previous course work. Students will utilize the principles of risk management to develop an emergency response plan for a simulated emergency. Students will also learn basic interview techniques, surveillance and investigation skills and apply skills learned in a variety of simulated exercises. Statute law, forensic requirements, rules of evidence and other related issues will be emphasized.
