Immigration

This course will familiarize the student with the enforcement role of Immigration Officers. As such, the topic areas will focus on the duties, authorities, and powers contained in the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the effective enforcement of the Act and the maintenance of program integrity. The impact of globalization and the freer movement of criminals and criminal organizations will also be examined with regard to the impact on enforcement of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
