Introductory Management

Students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to manage and supervise a security operation. In this course, students will conduct simulated exercises where management theory is applied and communication, problem solving and decision-making skills are tested. Students will also manage Campus Walk, a student service which provides safe walks to anyone on campus. Responsibilities will include hiring, training, employee evaluations and disciplinary practices.
