Spanish II for International Business

The learner will continue to communicate orally and in writing in basic Spanish by expanding and personalizing selected contemporary topics from distinctive and changing aspects of daily life to broader social concerns, economic and cultural issues in Hispanic countries. The student will also develop geographic literacy about specific Spanish-speaking countries through case studies. The student will view and listen to scripted and culturally authentic materials to reinforce comprehension and to refine communicative competence in Spanish by simulating realistic situations that may be encountered while conducting business in the Spanish-speaking world. Prequisite LA135 Spanish l. Looking for Professional Development opportunities? This course may also be taken for general interest by auditing it.
