Practical Instrumentation II

This course; with its laboratory experiments, provides the student an industrial like environment to investigate instrumentation characteristics, variable measurement and manipulation of temperature, liquid level, flow rate and density. The lab experiments are also designed to investigate process dynamics like tank capacity and lag time, as well as provide a student the opportunity to commission a number of different industrial control strategies using single-loop digital controllers and/or a modern DCS.
