Networking Essentials

This course provides comprehensive and practical knowledge of Information Networks hardware and software technologies. Using the client/server model, students will study and analyze effective solutions for large multi-user Local Area networks. The course will deal with the major issues facing network administrators today, including hardware specification and installation, software installation and configuration, network security, network management, protocol analysis and system conflict resolution.
