This course provides an understanding of organizational systems, planning and decision process and how information is used for decision support in organizations. Included are quality and decision theory, information theory and practice essential components for providing viable, timely information to an organization. The concepts of Information Systems of competitive advantage, data as a resource, IS and IT planning and implementation, TQM and re-engineering, project management, and development of systems and end-user computing.
