Operations Management
Operations Management is responsible for all the activities that create value by transforming inputs to outputs. Operation managers play a key role in orchestrating the resources required to produce the final product. This course introduces the critical part of an organization that is responsible for key activities such as product design, resource allocation, scheduling, equipment and facilities, location strategy, job design and work measurement. The concepts of operations management are discussed and applied to current issues arising in today’s manufacturing industry.
