Negahneewin Bridging Communities
Learners will engage in self-reflection around their learning experiences and in particular their co-op placements. In the course of this self-reflection they will be asked to identify situations where bridging difference was essential to progress and to assess positive or negative outcomes. Learners will be expected to articulate the importance of bridging differences between communities, whether cultural, organizational, personal or problem-based. The focus of class-room discussion will be the methods employed to break down barriers, and strategies which can be applied to new situations where the leader is required to become a bridge between communities.
