Case Studies in Indigenous Leadership

Through a series of case studies learners will analyze selected examples in contemporary Indigenous leadership. The related discourse about self-determination will be assessed and evaluated. Learners will practice a critical approach to this discourse and learn to distinguish rhetoric from substantive arguments as articulated by Indigenous leaders. The challenges relating to exercising personal and collective responsibility for leadership will also be explored.
