Rural and Remote Development Case Studies in Indigenous Communities

Learners will here focus on Indigenous communities as essential to understanding the issues surrounding remote and rural development. The communities studied will be drawn from the local, national and international stage, highlighting common themes and challenges relating to the Indigenous development. Particular attention will be paid to the varied approaches by which Indigenous communities maintain their cultural identity while endeavouring to create social and economic sustainability.
