Building Community Capacity

In this course learners will develop the skills for implementation, building and sustaining the outcomes of projects and initiatives. Areas of focus include information management, the development of proposals and partnerships, identifying international resources, and developing technological infrastructure. Discussion will also involve the concept of appreciative inquiry i.e. becoming aware of existing capacities or strengths and providing strategies to sustain or integrate them into further development efforts.
