Community Relationship Liason and Consultation

This course establishes a substantive foundation for community development in the form of meaningful, respectful and effective relationships. The discussion will be framed by a social-psychological understanding of the prevailing dynamics of both Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. Learners will examine some traditional organizational and decision-making structures and develop the interpersonal communication skills suitable to the liaison and consultation process.
