Canadian Law Policy and Politics
The objective of this course is to introduce learners to the legal and political framework in which many of them will be functioning. Learners will be expected to achieve a familiarity with the Canadian constitutional framework and in particular the legal framework relating to Indigenous peoples, in addition to issues of jurisdiction, delegated authority, and the distinction/interaction between law and public policy.
