Common Ground Diversity and Culture Discourse

The objective of this course is to discuss and challenge barriers to communications within groups and among communities, and to overcome the solitudes which have been reinforced by the emphasis on racial, cultural and gender difference. The course will incorporate cultural examples which reflect the possibility of a shared human experience. An interpretation of relationships as presently framed within the current socio-political landscape will be integral to the discussion.
