Public Policy

In this course, students will examine the knowledge, skills and technical experience needed to contribute to the four stages of the policy development process in Canadian government, (specifically Federal and First Nation governments). This course will teach students how to research, analyze and prepare the key documents used by governing bodies to identify and explain issues of public importance, and how to convey these results on public policy. ** Students may register for one or more of the courses within the Indigenous Governance and Public Administration Program without applying to the program. However in order to receive the program credential students must apply to the program and meet admission requirements. Students must have access to an iOS device (preferably iPad) as each course will have a multi-touch iBook.
